PROJECT GREENWell was created as a stand for love, compassion and humanity. Where community contributes to community, the aim to be a nation united, no longer divided.
The intention of PROJECT GREENWell is to use music, poetry and art to inspire people to help families and communities adversely affected by Hurricane Katrina. The plan is to host a benefit concert to raise money to build new GREEN homes for the people that are still living in FEMA trailers.
After almost four years, Hurricane Katrina survivors are continuing to struggle to rebuild their lives. Today, many families are still living in the cramped spaces of FEMA trailers after enduring the devastating tragedy on August 29, 2005.
