Who we are:
The Rescue Train is a unique, non-profit, 501(c)3, no kill dog and cat rescue dedicated to is to eliminating animal suffering and euthanasia through hands on rescue work, education and awareness. Our goal is to reduce the number of animals entering shelters by promoting education through creating unique programs and solutions. Including awareness, community involvement and events, responsible pet ownership, support for the Good Samaritan who rescues an animal, dog training, spay/neuter programs and supported adoptions. We are based in Los Angeles however our support and programs are available for other rescues to use nationally.
How your donations are spent:
The Rescue Train runs solely on the donations of animal lovers. The sad fact is that each week thousands of unwanted dogs and cats are put to sleep across our nation because we simply do not have enough homes. The Rescue Train rescues animals from local city and county shelters and finds loving forever homes. Your donations are spent on vet bills, impound shelter fees, boarding, dog training and spay & neuter costs. Your money goes directly to the care of our animals. The hard fact is the more money we raise the more lives we can save. We need your help to do this life saving work!

We believe that not only in our own city of Los Angeles, (The City of Angels), but across the country, is an army of animal lovers. Our goal is to unite them so we can make some real changes to eliminate euthanasia once and for all.
